Genetically-engineered human pluripotent stem cell lines

We offer both off-the-shelf, widely-used cell lines, as well as custom generation of transgenic human pluripotent stem cell lines. Those could be made in human ES (including those with StemCore-owned IP rights) or footprint free iPS lines of either gender, and currently include host cell lines for CRISPR/Cas9-assisted inducible gene mutagenesis or up – or down-modulation (CRISPRa and CRISPRi)  experiments, live cell fluorescent protein-based reporters, and more.
  • Human mutation (including VUS) -associated disease modelling by generation of the isogenic cohorts via precise gene editing in patient or reference hPSCs;
  • Generation of custom, gene-of-interest expression or cellular function reporters, combining those with specific disease-modelling genomic manipulations;
  • Other advanced projects with specific focus on advanced functional genomics tools (e.g. inducible CRISPRa/i cell lines).
We also offer a number of hPSC transgenic knock-in reporter lines (developed by StemCore and Allen Institute for Cell Science), including a versatile calcium reporter robustly and ubiquitously expressing the 6th generation GFP-derived reporter protein, GCaMP6f.
